Delete your account
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Almost everything Myranda has about you lives on your phone, so deleting it is a button in the app. The little we hold ourselves can be deleted from the same button, or by email if you no longer have the app.
From inside the app
- Open Myranda and go to Settings.
- At the end, choose Delete everything.
- Confirm. The app asks once more, because there is no undo.
That one action does all of the following:
- Erases the encrypted vault on your phone: feed history, message text, Rewind, Digital Self, settings.
- Signs you out of every platform you opened inside Myranda.
- Tells Apple to revoke the Sign in with Apple connection, if you used it.
- Deletes your account record from our account service.
- Resets the random install ID that App Health used, so the phone counts as a new install.
It does not cancel a Myranda Plus subscription. Cancel that in the App Store or Google Play, or it keeps renewing.
If you no longer have the app
Deleting the app already removed your history from the phone. To delete your account record and any feedback you sent, email us from the address you signed up with.
If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, write from any address and tell us roughly when you signed up. We will confirm by reply and delete the record within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted, and what is not
- Deleted: your account record, which is your email address, display name, account ID, app version, platform and last-seen time.
- Deleted when you ask us by email: any feedback you sent from inside the app.
- Kept: App Health counts, filed under the old install ID and not linked to your account.
- Not ours to delete: anything the platforms themselves hold about you. Their own settings and deletion routes apply.
